Execution model

Your firm is the counterparty to client trades

With dealer-based execution, your brokerage company is the counterparty to every client trade. The engine fills orders at prices built from your market-data feed and your spread settings; they are not routed to an exchange or an ECN.

The engine applies your rules the same way on every order: lot limits, leverage caps, stop levels and margin policy. Every action is recorded.

What the engine handles

Your trading rules, applied automatically.

  1. 01

    Orders and validation

Market, limit, stop and stop-limit orders. Minimum and maximum lot sizes, leverage caps per instrument and per account, post-only and reduce-only options, and a margin preview that matches what execution will do.

  2. 02

    Time in force

    GTC, IOC, FOK and DAY.

  3. 03

    Margin and liquidation

Isolated or cross margin, a leverage-aware exposure check and margin calls. Positions are liquidated automatically if account equity reaches zero.

  4. 04

    Stop-loss and take-profit

The engine checks pending orders and SL/TP levels continuously, updates P&L and pushes positions to clients and the CRM.

  5. 05

    Swap accrual and funding

Each instrument uses either a swap or a perpetual funding model, and the engine accrues it.

  6. 06

    Market hours

The engine respects market hours, including for commodities. Staff can override them from the CRM.

  7. 07

    Instrument settings

Per instrument: symbol, type, lot information, spread type and value, leverage limits, contract size, stop and gap levels, fees and an active toggle. Supported types are forex, crypto, stock, commodity and index.

  8. 08

    Real-time delivery

Prices, trades, orders and candles update live for everyone; executions, positions, KYC and deposit status reach each client privately.

Good to know

  • Instrument coverage depends on your data plan

Forex, crypto and commodities are supported out of the box. Stocks and indices depend on the market-data feed you subscribe to.

  • Service terms in your contract

Hosting, support hours and service levels are set out in your agreement.

  • Dealer-based by design

Prices come from your market-data provider and orders are executed within the dealer-based model. QUANTIX does not route orders to external liquidity providers or exchanges.

Execution, spreads and margin.

Is QUANTIX an ECN or an exchange?

No. Execution is dealer-based: your brokerage company is the counterparty to client trades.

Who sets spreads and leverage?

You do, instrument by instrument: spread type and value, leverage limits, contract size, stop and gap levels, and fees.

What happens at margin call and liquidation?

Both are automatic. The engine raises a margin call and liquidates a position if account equity reaches zero. Staff and clients are notified through the triggers you configure.

Which price feeds are supported?

Prices come from supported market-data providers: Twelve Data (WebSocket and REST), Binance and Alpha Vantage. Coverage depends on your plan with the provider.
